The school started in 1998 with a handful of students and teachers for the first intake. In a nutshell, It was a humble beginning and the number of students has steadily increased over the years. Until now, the school has relocated to a more conducive learning environment to meet the growing number of students.
Message From the School Head Teacher
We work as a very close team and strive to involve parents as much as possible in the learning of their children. I am extremely honored to be the Headteacher of Serere Township Secondary School and I believe that when students move on from our school at the end of their learning cycle they will leave with the idea:
"I believe and I have the confidence to succeed."
​At Serere Township Secondary School we aim to provide a broad and balanced education for all the students within a happy, stimulating and healthy environment and we want each student to achieve the best he or she can. We have excellent teachers and support staff who all work as a very close team. Our Governing Body plays an essential role in the development and success of the school.
​We also have a reward system in school where we give back to the community. In every new school calendar, we offer bursaries to hundreds of students who have performed well in their national exams.
​By the time students leave us at the end of their learning cycle, they are responsible, independent young people and we are very proud of them.
